It offers effective coagulation and flocculation in the treatment of industrial effluents containing high levels of heavy metals and requiring a high pH for flocculation. It is also widely used in the food, beverage, steel, textile, petrochemical, and automotive industries, as well as mining and industrial laundries.

It is extremely efficient at removing suspended solids, heavy metals, color, arsenic, and BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand).
