Installation, Assembly and Retrofitting of Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems

Specialized installation to guarantee safety, efficiency, and reliability from the system implementation stage.

Improper installation of treatment systems can lead to schedule delays, rework, increased construction costs, and compromise the plant's performance during operation.

The ideal time to implement a water or wastewater treatment system is during the construction planning phase. At this stage, activities that require more space and logistics—such as excavations, foundation work, tank installation, and hydraulic and electrical infrastructure—can be carried out in an integrated manner within the construction schedule, reducing rework, additional costs, and interference with already completed stages.

We integrate the hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and automation systems into the construction schedule, ensuring greater organization during implementation, reduced rework, and a safer system startup.

Services performed

  • Mechanical assembly
  • Plumbing installation
  • Electrical installation
  • Pipeline interconnection
  • Instrumentation
  • Electrical panels
  • Automation
  • Commissioning
  • Start-up
  • Retrofit
  • NR-10 compliance
  • NR-12 compliance

When should you do a retrofit?

Retrofitting is recommended when the system exhibits low operational efficiency, high energy or chemical consumption, lack of automation, a need to increase capacity, or when it needs to be adapted to new technical and environmental requirements.

How we performed the deployment:

CCLM carries out all stages of implementation according to the project specifications, including mechanical assembly, hydraulic installations, electrical installations, automation integration, operational testing, commissioning, and system start-up.

The result is a more organized implementation, with reduced rework, less need for adaptations during construction, and a safer system startup.

Efficiency

“CCLM seamlessly integrated the installation of our wastewater treatment plant into the civil works schedule. The result was a delivery without rework, on time, and with excellent operational efficiency.”

4 reasons why your project should be delivered on time (and without headaches):

  1. Integrated project schedule: Coordinated planning to reduce rework, avoid interference in construction phases, and contribute to meeting the schedule.
  2. Installation according to project specifications: Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems designed to ensure safety, durability, and ease of maintenance.
  3. System delivered ready for operation: Assembly, testing, adjustments, commissioning, and start-up performed by a specialized team, providing a safer and more reliable start-up.
  4. Retrofitting and expansions with minimal disruption: We execute modernizations and expansions using techniques that minimize the impact on the operation and schedule of the project.

  • When is the ideal time to hire a company to install and assemble a treatment system?

The sooner the better. The technical recommendation is that the treatment system be planned along with the foundation work. This allows for excavations and heavy infrastructure (tanks, bases) to be done before floors and walls, generating savings of up to 30% in the final project cost.

  • Does CCLM service projects that are already underway or completed?

Yes, and that's one of our specialties. We carry out installation and assembly in completed or operational projects, using specific techniques for more delicate situations, without compromising what has already been built.

  • Besides installation, do you do retrofitting on older stations?

Absolutely. We perform complete retrofits on treatment systems — including water treatment plants (WTP), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), oil recovery plants (ORP), and oily wastewater treatment plants (OWTP). We evaluate your current equipment and modernize what is necessary (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical) so that it returns to operating with the efficiency of a new plant, but with a much smaller investment.

  • Do you provide only the labor or also the equipment?

We offer both solutions. We can assemble and integrate the equipment you have already purchased, or supply and install the complete system, with full technical responsibility. Our team oversees everything, from anchoring the concrete tanks to installing the panels and instruments, and the final delivery of the station ready to operate.

  • How long does an installation take?

It depends on the size of the system, the existing infrastructure, and the complexity of the project. After the technical evaluation, CCLM prepares a detailed schedule to ensure the safe and organized execution of the activities.

  • Does CCLM handle the station's start-up?

Yes. After assembly and testing, our team performs the commissioning and start-up of the system, verifying the operation of the equipment and guiding the client's team regarding initial operation.

A properly executed installation reduces rework, increases system reliability, and contributes to a safer start-up. CCLM executes installation, assembly, and retrofit projects with a focus on quality, efficiency, and meeting the needs of each project.
