ETAC | Greywater Treatment Plant
Reuse water safely, reduce consumption, and increase the sustainability of your business.
Greywater is water from showers, sinks, washing machines, and other sources that do not receive sewage from toilets or industrial effluents. After proper treatment, it can be reused in various non-potable applications.
The Greywater Treatment Plant (GWTP) is a solution developed to treat and reuse water from showers, sinks, washing machines, and other points of consumption that do not contain sanitary sewage.
After treatment, this water can be reused in non-potable applications, such as flushing toilets, irrigating gardens, washing floors, cleaning outdoor areas, and other processes, significantly reducing potable water consumption and operating costs.
CCLM develops customized greywater treatment systems using modern technologies that ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with applicable technical standards and requirements.
How does ETAC work?
Greywater treatment systems can consist of different stages, sized according to the quality of the incoming water and the purpose of reuse. The process typically includes:
- Screening and retention of solids;
- Effluent equalization;
- Biological or physicochemical treatment;
- Filtration;
- Disinfection (UV or chlorination);
- Treated water storage;
- Pumping for the reuse system.
Each project is developed according to the characteristics of the undertaking and the demand for water reuse.
Where is the treated water
Can it be used?
- Toilet flushes;
- Irrigation of gardens and green areas;
- Floor cleaning;
- Cleaning outdoor areas;
- Vehicle washing (when applicable);
- Non-potable processes compatible with the project.
Technologies Used
CCLM designs each ETAC according to the client's needs, and can utilize technologies such as:
- Biological treatment;
- Flotation;
- Decantation;
- Sand filtration;
- Activated charcoal;
- Ultrafiltration (UF);
- Reverse Osmosis (when necessary);
- UV disinfection;
- Automatic chlorination;
- Automation and supervision of the system.
Available flow rates
From 500 L/ha to 20,000 L/h, with the possibility of customization according to the project's needs.
